STREAM Project Highlights Innovation in Energy Flexibility at SynGrid Summer School 2025

The STREAM project was featured at the SynGrid Summer School 2025, a five-day event hosted by the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana, from May 12–16. Jan Jeriha from the University of Ljubljana presented the STREAM project’s innovative contributions to advancing flexibility in European energy systems.

The SynGRID Summer School gathered over 20 participants from Slovenia, Croatia, Serbia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, North Macedonia, Kosovo, Greece, Portugal, and Norway. Designed as an intensive, international training program, the event focused on enhancing knowledge in key areas such as battery storage, demand-side flexibility, smart grids, energy communities, and regulatory frameworks.

During the event, Kolektor sETup and Avant Car shared how their work contributes to the STREAM Slovenian pilot site. Their presentations provided real-life examples of flexibility services and technologies supporting renewable energy integration and grid stability, illustrating STREAM’s impact in practice.

STREAM’s presence at the Summer School highlights its ongoing efforts to develop innovative, collaborative solutions that enhance flexibility in energy systems, while fostering cross-border knowledge exchange and partnerships.
