The European Commission’s BRIDGE initiative has released its 2025 brochure, offering a comprehensive overview of the strategic projects shaping the future of Europe’s energy systems. STREAM is proud to be part of this ambitious and growing ecosystem of collaboration and innovation.
Launched at the end of May 2025, the latest edition of the brochure features 202 active and completed projects working across domains such as Smart Grids, Energy Storage, Digitalisation, and Islands. These projects are co-funded by the Horizon 2020 and Horizon Europe programmes and represent a powerful collective effort involving over 2,000 organisations and backed by €1.6 billion in EU funding.
STREAM plays an active role within BRIDGE by advancing digital solutions for flexible, resilient, and consumer-driven energy systems. Our work aligns with BRIDGE’s mission to scale impactful research and ensure that promising innovations in smart grid technologies are shared and implemented across Europe.
