The STREAM consortium met in Slovenia between the 2nd and the 3rd of December for its 7th General Meeting, bringing together partners from across Europe for two days of discussions and exchanges in Ajdovščina and Ljubljana. The meeting focused on overall project progress, experiences from the pilot sites, and the next steps in demonstrating energy flexibility in real-life settings.
The first day took place in Ajdovščina and started with a visit to TOSLA Nutricosmetics, an external stakeholder involved in the Slovenian pilot. TOSLA, a supplier of high-performance liquid beauty and wellness products, is also strongly committed to sustainability and energy innovation. The company is working towards greater energy self-sufficiency through solutions such as photovoltaic systems, battery energy storage, EV charging infrastructure and an ice bank. The visit offered the consortium a concrete example of how an industrial partner can use flexibility to respond to market conditions and grid needs while optimising its own operations.

Following the visit, partners continued with a project meeting in Ajdovščina, where they discussed project management and coordination, how to address feedback received during the project review, and how to maximise the social, environmental and economic impact of STREAM. Communication, dissemination and opportunities for replicating the solutions in other regions were also key topics of the day.
The second day was held in Ljubljana at the Faculty of Electrical Engineering, University of Ljubljana. Partners shared updates from the pilot activities in all participating countries and reflected on lessons learned from ongoing demonstrations. The discussions focused on the rollout of technical solutions, collaboration with local stakeholders and the monitoring of results to better understand the benefits of flexibility for both the energy system and end users. Partners also aligned on the main actions for the coming period to ensure coordinated progress across all pilot sites.
The meeting in Slovenia strengthened collaboration within the consortium and provided new momentum for the next phase of STREAM, supported by the active involvement of local partners, including Elektro Primorska D.D. and Kolektor sETup.
