STREAM will hold its closing event at FLEXCON2026, taking place 23–24 September at the Queen Elisabeth Center in Antwerp. Organised by the Flexiblepower Alliance Network (FAN) and smartEn – Smart Energy Europe, FLEXCON is one of Europe’s leading conferences on demand-side flexibility, bringing together over 500 experts, innovators and decision-makers across the energy, mobility and digital sectors for two days of sessions, exhibitions and networking.
STREAM’s closing event takes place on 23 September, bringing together four years of work on building a flexibility ecosystem on the low-voltage grid, connecting data, technologies, stakeholders and markets across 20 partners in Europe.

Keynote: Four Years of Connecting Flexibility Markets to the Low-Voltage Grid
Dr. Tomi Medved, STREAM Project Coordinator and Head of the Laboratory for Energy Policy at the University of Ljubljana, will give a keynote speech in the morning session, presenting STREAM’s results and the STREAM Device Registry. Dr. Medved has led and contributed to several European projects, working at the intersection of energy markets, smart grids and policy.
STREAM Triple-Block Session
Later in the day, STREAM will hold a triple-block session from 13:30 to 15:00 in the Gorilla Room, bringing together representatives from all four STREAM pilot sites:

- Daniel Pastor Pascual, ETRA I+D (Spain)
- Bernardo Di Chiara, OptiWatti (Finland)
- Prashanth Kumar Pedholla, ASM Terni S.p.A. (Italy)
Moderated by Dr. Medved, the session will feature pilot teasers and a moderated discussion, followed by audience Q&A.
